Job Description:
A company is looking for a Catastrophe Analyst to join their
Catastrophe Risk Management department.
Key Responsibilities
Provide independent portfolio modeling using catastrophe models and
report findings to senior management
Create and coordinate reporting dashboards in MS Excel or Power
BI
Assist in validating vendor models and assess the impact of
real-time catastrophes on the company's portfolio
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science,
math, actuarial science, statistics, or engineering
Typically a minimum of four years of related work experience
Solid knowledge of Verisk or Moody's RMS Cat model and statistical
concepts
Proficiency with SQL coding
Solid knowledge of core functions of an insurance company and
financial concepts
