Job Details for IT Support Specialist:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • Weekly Pay Job Description for IT Support Specialist:
    • Assist users with opening and managing support tickets, including doing so on their behalf.
    • Escalate work stoppages and ensure timely resolution of issues.
    • Conduct daily ticket reviews, ensuring movement towards closure and proper classification with corresponding service level objectives (SLOs).
    • Differentiate between training needs and support issues for accurate issue classification.
    • Provide end-of-day summaries, which may include internal and customer-facing updates.
    • Perform additional support tasks such as password resets and workstation setup or reassignments as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
      • Strong customer focus and professionalism with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
      • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, PC hardware, and network environments, including Active Directory.
      • Familiarity with common software applications like Microsoft Office and Adobe, with troubleshooting experience.
      • Knowledge of mobile device platforms (iOS, BlackBerry, etc.) and Mac OS is a plus.
      • Adaptable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Additional Job Duties IT Support Specialist:
        • Respond promptly to customer support requests, maintaining professionalism throughout.
        • Provide Tier I level support for Ricoh products and services, including operating systems, software, VoIP, email, mobile device management, disaster recovery, malware detection, and workstation diagnostics.
        • Escalate unresolved issues through proper channels.
        • Document all support interactions and steps performed in the ticketing system.
        • Collaborate with other resources to resolve or escalate issues efficiently. Job Requirements for IT Support Specialist:
          • High school diploma required; A+ and Microsoft (MTA/MCSA) certifications are a plus.
          • Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service-oriented role.
          • Experience with ACDs/IVRs and case management systems is a plus.
