Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP and Salesforce OTC Consultant to
join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
integrating and optimizing SAP and Salesforce platforms to enhance
the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process. This role requires deep technical
and functional expertise in SAP (particularly modules like SD or
FICO) and Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, or other relevant
tools). As an OTC Consultant, you will streamline workflows, ensure
seamless system integration, and drive efficiencies across the OTC
lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
System Integration & Optimization:Design and implement seamless
integration between SAP and Salesforce systems to improve OTC
processes.
OTC Process Enhancement:Analyze, optimize, and configure the
end-to-end OTC cycle, including order management, inventory,
billing, and payment reconciliation.
Workflow Automation:Develop automated solutions to streamline sales
order entry, invoicing, and cash application.
Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with stakeholders to understand
business needs and translate them into system configurations or
enhancements.
Data Management:Ensure data consistency and accuracy across SAP and
Salesforce platforms to support reporting and decision-making.
Customization:Configure SAP SD/FICO modules and Salesforce tools
(e.g., Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud) to align with business
requirements.
Troubleshooting:Resolve technical and functional issues within SAP
and Salesforce systems related to the OTC process.
Change Management:Provide training, documentation, and support to
end-users during implementations and updates.
Performance Monitoring:Continuously evaluate system performance and
recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications:
Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP (SD, FICO, or
related modules) and Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, or
similar tools).
Technical Expertise:Proficiency in system integration tools such as
MuleSoft, Boomi, or other middleware; API management; and data
migration.
Functional Knowledge:Strong understanding of the OTC lifecycle,
including order entry, credit management, invoicing, and cash
applications.
Analytical Skills:Proven ability to analyze business processes and
identify areas for improvement or automation.
Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills for
effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and
stakeholders.
Problem-Solving:Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues
and provide actionable solutions.
Certifications:Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce
Administrator, Revenue Cloud Consultant) and SAP certifications are
a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, or
distribution where OTC processes are critical.
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
Proficiency with reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI for OTC
analytics.
