What you'll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

• Supporting Scout's definition of Quality and process requirements as the Voice of the Customer
• Evaluating project requests for impact to Quality Assurance and ensuring a flawless launch at Scout
• Driving project activities to ensure best performance for Quality KPI's, such as warranty, customer satisfaction scores, and internal audits
• Supporting development of engineering solutions, while protecting full volume manufacturability
• Keeping an ongoing list of the project's (and related processes) strengths and weaknesses for future improvement Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in automotive infotainment software development, including Over-the-Air (OTA) updates
  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in related Engineering discipline desired
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, and familiar with a software development lifecycle
  • Communication skills to articulate Quality requirements and impact across hierarchy and functional levels (e.g., Director and Vice President Level)
  • Ability to identify tasks, develop methodologies and plans, and execute with minimal supervision; own assignments to ensure the project success
  • Technical understanding of current vehicle status to drive design for manufacturability and repairability
  • Proven ability to handle multiple assignments with competing priorities What you'll gain

            This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
            
            Initial base salary range = $95,000-$120,000
