learn more about our Stores!The Transportation and Compliance
Coordinator is the initial point-of-contact for Van Specialists,
Store Managers, and Regional Managers for needs related to
compliance, safety, maintenance, and training. This position will
provide day-to-day support to ensure the Stores fleet vehicles
remain in compliance with state laws, fleet maintenance is
performed on time, drivers are enrolled in the systems used for
Training, Safety, Compliance, and Routing, and also monitors and
escalates field compliance issues for training, safety, and
maintenance.What you will do:
- Assists in the administration of the Store Delivery Program for
the GFS retail division.
- Provide day-to-day support to all Van Specialists, Store
Managers, Store Regional Managers, and the Van Program Manager for
questions related to Driver Training, Safety, and Compliance.
- Administer driver set-up functions and work with stores to keep
their delivery vehicles up to date.
- Monitor safety, maintenance, training and compliance activities
to ensure these actions are performed on time.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and maintenance that are not
progressing in a timely manner.
- Perform administrative tasks involving uploading scanned
documents from the field to safety and compliance systems, ordering
and distributing fleet materials, coding of invoices, monitoring
shared email inboxes.Hybrid Work Schedule:
- This position will be based at the Home Office in Wyoming, MI,
and offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days
remote).
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.Leading candidates will
have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation
compliance, or an equivalent combination of education, training,
and experience.
- High School Diploma (required) / Specialized Training or
Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field
(preferred).
- Working knowledge of DMV and related procedures, as well as
knowledge involving automotive repairs.
- Ability to think creatively in problematic situations that
arise in the field and act on solutions.
- Working knowledge of compliance software systems, Driver Safety
Systems, Samsara, Fleetworthy, etc., or the ability to quickly
learn and use existing software systems related to job
responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of Google Apps (Chrome, Gmail, Calendar,
Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.)Note:Please make sure you use a
