  • The registered nurse will perform direct patient/resident care and delegation to patient care technicians in providing care and comfort to the residents.
  • Knowledge and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines relating to facility care will be maintained.
  • This position has basic medical/surgical knowledge to care for general surgical and orthopedic surgical patients.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of Med Surg Experience - Required
    • Oncology Experience - Required
    • BLS (AHA) - Required
    • Travel Experience - Highly Preferred
    • Epic Experience - Preferred
    • ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer)
    • Work History
    • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
    • 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
    • Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)

        • Travelers for this position must be okay floating between 2 MyMichigan hospitals in Midland and Saginaw (32 miles apart).
        • The location being applied for will be the main assigned site but may be asked to float to the other hospital for critical staffing support.
        • The intention from MyMichigan is that they will not float at all.
