  • Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room (ER) at Sparrow Hospital, part of Sparrow Health System - MSP.
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • On Call: No
  • Weekend: Yes - 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule
  • Floating: Yes - Peds possible
  • Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current Michigan state license required.
    • ACLS certification required.
    • BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
    • PALS certification required.
    • TNCC certification required for ER placements.
    • ENPC certification required (pending acceptance).
    • NIH Stroke certification required due to facility's stroke center designation.
    • Level I trauma experience required.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • RTO must be submitted at time of submittal, no additional RTO will be approved later on.
      • RTO blocked from 3/31-4/13 and 4/18-4/20.
      • High patient ratios of 1:5-6, could be up to 8 depending on patient influx.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Currently experiencing high patient ratios.
          • Additional Details
          • Traveler must have Level I trauma experience.
          • Traveler agrees to work 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule.
          • Traveler acknowledgment of high ratios (1:5-6, could be up to 8).
          • Modules are NOT billable; please margin for 5 hours.
