every patient.Job OverviewWe're seeking a skilled Dental Health
Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Registered Dental
Hygienist, you'll play a vital role in promoting oral health and
preventing dental decay among our patients.Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a comfortable and
supportive experience from start to finish.
- Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide
quality care.
- Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments using our
state-of-the-art iTero 3D scanner and digital photography
equipment.
- Chart conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and
treatment by our dentist.
- Apply fluorides and cavity-preventing agents to prevent dental
decay.
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping.
- Prepare hygiene rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols
and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
- Partner with our providers and team to implement systems and
maximize office workflow.Benefits and Perks

- Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate's
or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene
procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history
documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric
environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.Preferred
Experience
- 1+ years of clinical experience.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital
x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet
patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance
of patients' dental health.Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or
without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)
