A company is looking for a Senior Director of Federal Government
Affairs to engage with Congressional offices and stakeholders on
federal government affairs strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with Congressional offices and
executive branch agencies
Analyze proposed legislation and regulations to advise the business
on potential impacts
Advocate for policy positions and represent the company in public
policy forums and events
Required Qualifications
10+ years of federal public policy work experience
Experience in a Congressional office or as part of a federal
government affairs team
Thorough understanding of the U.S. legislative process
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on strategic
business objectives
