The Role:

Dematic is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for an exceptionally dedicated Senior Manager of Project Managers! This role is vital for our mission to deliver world-class project management solutions and to successfully implement our most ambitious initiatives. As a Senior Manager, you will lead a team of project managers, ensuring the flawless execution of projects across the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of project managers, encouraging a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
• Craft and develop strategic project opportunities that align with company goals.
• Coordinate the full project management scope for complex projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and prioritization.
• Provide leadership on business process improvements and continuous enhancement initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships, identifying new business opportunities.
• Support the accomplishment of comprehensive project plans, ensuring all achievements are met.
• Act as a primary point of escalation for project-related issues, ensuring swift resolution.
• Develop departmental budgets and business plans, optimizing prioritization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges, recommending procedural changes as needed.
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex material handling projects.
  • Outstanding knowledge of project management principles, including planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of controls architectures and integration of WMS and WCS systems.
  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in project management.
  • Ability to develop detailed project schedules and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with procurement processes, including RFP/RFQ development and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative solutions.
    
    Key Working Relationships:
    
    
    • Collaborate with direct and indirect teams, including project managers, engineering, procurement, and installation professionals.
    • Engage with Amazon BU Leadership and Function leaders, providing updates to regional and Dematic leadership.
    • Interact with external contacts, such as Amazon RME, operations, procurement, and engineering teams.
