We have an exciting opportunity on our team as a Director of
Finance! This position is located in Midland, MI. The Director of
Finance is a strategic, hands-on manager who leads and develops an
internal team to support the financial well-being and growth of the
organization. Responsibilities include complex data analysis and
reporting, forecast modeling, budgeting, risk management,
development of financial policies and strategy, disbursement of
funds, and oversight of all financial and procurement

world.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Lead all financial planning and analysis activities, including
forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Prepare, analyze, and report on financial performance.
- Build and manage forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
- Implement and oversee internal accounting and purchasing
controls.
- Monitor ongoing expenditure and cash flow.
- Oversee corporate insurance policies and risk management, 401k
plan, and investment accounts.
- Evaluate and advise on external funding strategies to meet
growing business needs. Secure and maintain good relationships with
external funding resources.
- Develop strategies to increase profitability and return on
investment.
- Oversee accounting tasks, including payables, receivables,
payroll, taxes, and compliance.
- Present financial reports to executives, management team, and
other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with management team to create budgets and track
key performance indicators.
- Set and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced work
environment.
- Adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and
other financial and insurance industry regulations.
- Professionally manage and train a team of salaried and hourly
direct reports.
- Work with executive leadership to set financial strategy and
fiscal goals for the organization.
- Coordinate activities with external accounting firm to ensure
the timely and accurate preparation of annual financial statements,
tax returns, and other critical financial documents.
- Create, implement, and evaluate improvements to the
organization's financial processes, programs, and supporting
information systems.
- Establish and manage procurement goals related to operational
and financial objectives of the organization.
- Implement improved sourcing processes to reduce critical
shortages and spending.
- Ensure operational outbound packaging and shipping quality
standards are in place.
- Ensure inventory levels are appropriate and accurate through
use of cycle counting and physical inventory adjustment
process.ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
- Attending team meetings to provide updates and share
information.
- Assist with ISO 9001 quality documents, records, and
procedures.
- Collaborate with HR in evaluation of employee compensation and
other financially important matters.JOB
SPECIFICATIONSEDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in
finance, economics, accounting or a related major is required.
Master's degree in business administration, finance or accounting
preferred.LICENSURE: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered
Financial Analyst (CFA) credentials preferred.EXPERIENCE: At least
ten years' experience in corporate financial management or
accounting. At least five years of management experience
preferred.SKILLS

Must be able to move/lift equipment weighing up to 15lbs. Other

repetitive motion/dexterity, and other physical requirements as
required by the position.SAFETY MEASURES: All employees are
expected to follow safety procedures and regulations at all
times.HOURS OF WORK: Full-time with a typical schedule of Monday
through Friday, 8-hour shifts. Some nights and weekends may be
required.TRAVEL: up to five percent travel annually may be required
